Médecins Sans Frontières translates to Doctors Without Borders. They provide medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare. After extensive travel, we’ve seen first hand the incredible work Doctors Without Borders does for people living in extreme poverty and wanted to help.
QIMR Berghofer is a world-leading medical research institute with a focus on three areas: cancer, infectious diseases and mental health/complex disorders. Almost all of us will be personally touched by someone with cancer, disease, or mental health issues, so this is a charity we give wholeheartedly to.
Rural Aid is one of Australia’s largest rural charities. Well known for the highly successful ‘Buy a Bale’ campaign, they also provide financial assistance, water and counselling to farmers in times of drought, flood or fire. Rural Aid plays an essential role in supporting our community and we feel proud to support them.
The Pyjama Foundation was founded in 2004 to give children in foster care the opportunity to change the direction of their lives with learning, life skills, and confidence. Roberta is what’s known as a ‘Pyjama Angel’ and volunteers her time each week to read to a foster child.
